Course Description
Attend a three-day training that totals 20 hours of continuing education. This training will build on initial skills, work with advanced applications of the model and how to modify it for special populations. Bringing clinical nuance to all components of the model will help clinicians go deeper in their application of treatment components to a variety of presentations.

Eligibility
The course is open to professionals of the mental health fields; including psychologists, counsellors, social workers, physicians, child life specialists, nurses, occupational therapists as well as full time graduate students.
Participants should have at least a Bachelor’s or higher degree in an area of mental health related education. Participants with a lack of demonstrated coursework will be recommended to undertake introductory courses conducted by Healing Hearts Centre prior to attending this course.

Certification of Attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be presented to the participant at the end of the course.
For a Certificate of Completion of each module, additional requirements such as assignments and supervision sessions are required.
For a Certificate in TraumaPlayTM, Certificate of Completion for all 7 modules are required.
Certificate of Attendance Recognition
This Certificate of Attendance is awarded by Healing Hearts Centre and certificate training hours are recognised both by the Association for Play Therapy (USA) and by the Association for Play Therapy (Singapore) for the individual who is working towards their Registered Play Therapist qualifications.
Assignments (for participants in Certificate in TraumaPlayTM program)

10 hours of individual supervision while applying the model in at least 30 clinical sessions (in addition to those in Module 6)

10 self-reflection reports while applying the model in at least 30 clinical sessions (in addition to those in Module 6)
