INTRODUCTION TO SANDTRAY THERAPY
This course is designed to provide the participant with a brief understanding of sandtray therapy basics, including covering the history and prominent literature in the field of sandtray therapy, categories of miniatures, setting up the sandtray room in conjunction with the playroom as well as facilitative skills used with sandtray therapy and the sandtray protocol.
This course will also cover neurobiology, where participants will be able to discuss how it impacts the work of the therapist in sandtray.

ADLERIAN APPLICATIONS OF SAND TRAY PLAY THERAPY
This experiential workshop introduces the foundations of Adlerian Sand Tray Play Therapy, and integrating Adlerian psychology with the therapeutic use of sand trays. Participants will learn how to use sand tray interventions to build therapeutic relationships, explore clients' lifestyle patterns, facilitate insight, as well as facilitate changes in thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. The workshop also explores the application of Adlerian play therapy concepts in understanding clients and using Adlerian sand tray play therapy strategies when consulting with parents and teachers.

This advanced experiential workshop builds on the Adlerian Applications of Sand Tray Play Therapy class, enabling participants to deepen their application of Adlerian Sand Tray Play Therapy concepts, skills, and techniques in clinical practice. Participants will strengthen their ability to use sand trays to build therapeutic relationships, explore clients' lifestyle patterns, facilitate insight, and facilitate change in thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. The workshop also develops advanced skills in case conceptualisation, treatment planning, and consultation with parents and teachers using Adlerian Sand Tray Play Therapy processes.
